The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announces the opportunity to apply for up to $100 million in Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Airport Infrastructure Grant funds for the FAA Contract Tower (FCT) Competitive Grant Program, made available under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA), Public Law 117-58. Ford Motor Company (Ford) has determined that certain model year (MY) 2024-2025 Ford Ranger motor vehicles do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 101, Controls And Displays. Ford filed a noncompliance report dated September 11, 2025, and subsequently petitioned NHTSA (the "Agency") on October 3, 2025, for a decision that the subject noncompliance is inconsequential as it relates to motor vehicle safety. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), PHMSA invites comments on proposed updates to the form used for reporting incidents that occur during the transportation of hazardous materials. PHMSA intends to request a revision of a currently approved information collection from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the Hazardous Materials Incident Report (DOT Form 5800.1; Form Approval OMB No. 2137-0039).
